But things are changing! The Bangladesh Railway has just implemented a new online registration system that makes buying tickets a breeze. So whether you’re a seasoned traveler or this is your first time taking the train in Bangladesh, read on for all the details.
Railway Ticket Online Registration system is going to be launched soon. This new system will allow passengers to book their tickets online without having to go through the hassle of standing in long queues at the ticket counter. www eticket.railway.gov.bd is the website where you can register and book your tickets. Here are some important things you need to know about this new system:
Step 1: At first visit this link www.eticket.railway.gov.bd
Step 2: Then click on Registration or Create a New Account.
Step 3: Provide your personal information like User name, date of birth, NID or Birth Certificate 17 Digit number, address, contact number with email.
Step 4: Enter all the information correctly then click on Submit.
Step 5: After a while, you get a verification code in your mobile number.
Step 6: Enter this security code on the e-ticket website and click on Registration.
Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan today said that online train ticket BD registration process 2022 would begin from December 1. “The railways ministry is going to implement the online train ticket BD registration process 2022 from December 1 to make the railway management system more transparent and efficient,” he told a crowded press briefing at his office.
Sujan also said that a ‘mobile app’ for Bangladesh Railway (BR) tickets would be introduced within two months to facilitate passengers. He added that an e-ticketing system would also be put in place soon.”From December 1, you will not have to go through any hassle in order to buy a train ticket. You can simply do it all through your phone by downloading our BR mobile app,” he asserted.
